Who is Moonbeam Astronomy Club for?
We are for curious beginners, casual skywatchers, and longtime hobbyists who enjoy learning together in a friendly local group.
Are beginners really welcome?
Yes. Many members start with no prior experience, and we keep explanations practical so everyone can follow the night sky at their own pace.
What should I bring to a meetup?
Bring warm layers, comfortable shoes, and a red-light flashlight if you have one. Binoculars are helpful but optional, and shared telescopes are usually available.
What happens if weather conditions change?
We post weather updates ahead of time. Depending on conditions, we may adjust start time, move to a short indoor learning session, or reschedule.
